There, they met with the victim who stated he had an unknown substance thrown in his face by an unknown suspect, a black male in his 20’s.The victim has been identified as Donte Jones, 27.Jones was transported to ORMC, where he is suffering from serious injury to his eyes from the assault, and the unknown substance.It is believed the incident took place in the 600 block of 13thStreet in South Apopka.Detectives are actively working the case.No other details have been released.
